どうも！エンジョイしすぎて締め切りギリギリにブログを書き始めたRです！今回は皆さんにBusiness English (Class1)の授業について書いていきます。

Hi! I'm R. I've been enjoying myself so much that I started writing this blog just before the deadline!Today, I would like to write about Business English (Class 1) class.

私たちのクラスの先生の名前はピーターです。かわいいおじいちゃん先生という印象でした。写真は授業風景です。私たち工科大学生の他に会津大学、創価大学、四天王寺大学と一緒に授業を受けていました。バディと呼ばれる私たちのサポートをしてくれるFPT大学の子たちも一緒でした。

Our class teacher's name is Peter. I had the impression that he was a cute old man teacher. The photo shows the class scene. In addition to us TUT students, there were several students from the University of Aizu, Soka University, Shitennoji University, and our buddies from FPT University.

授業の内容は主にビジネスで使える英語のフレーズをスモールトークを通して覚えたり、メール文を書くときに気を付けることや役立つフレーズなど、実用的な内容でした。

We learned English phrases that can be used in business settings and useful phrases and things to keep in mind when writing emails. The lesson was very practical, and we practiced these English phrases through small talk role-play and writing emails.

実際にスモールトークをやっている様子です。私たちのクラスは即興でやることがほとんどで、かなり難しかったです。ただ、先生がしっかりサポートしてくれました。写真は会津大学の2人がスモールトークをしている様子です。

Here is a shot of us actually doing small talk. Most of the time, we had to use what we learned and improvise, which was quite difficult. However, Peter was very supportive, so we were able to manage the tasks. The photograph shows two members of the University of Aizu giving a small talk.

毎日課題がありました。個人の課題もグループの課題もありましたが、どちらも主にプレゼンテーションの準備が主でした。プレゼン能力と英語力どちらも上がり、一石二鳥でした。

There were daily assignments. There were both individual and group assignments, but the main focus of both was preparation for presentations. I was able to kill two birds with one stone by improving both my presentation skills and my English.

実際にプレゼンテーションをしている様子です。前日にグループメンバー4人で部屋に集まり、マックを食べながら準備をしました。他大学の人も一人いました。仲良くなるきっかけにもなったのでよかったです。肝心のプレゼンテーションも先生に褒められました。

Here is the photo of us giving a presentation. Four group members gathered in a hotel room the night before and prepared for the presentation over mac and cheese. One of the members was from another university. It was a good opportunity for us to get to know each other. The teacher praised us for our presentation!
