シンガポール研修に参加した学生の投稿です。

南洋工科大学の学生さんたちとの交流会の前、私は話せるか仲良くなれるか不安でいっぱいでした。しかし、JAC（日本愛好会）の人たちはみんな優しくて日本語がとても上手でした。

Before this get-together with NTU students, I was worried about communication and being able to make friends. However, JAC members are very kind and friendly. They speak Japanese well.  

同じ日本のアーティストが好きなユンさんという友達も出来ました。

Also, I made a friend who likes Japanese artists. 

交流会後、ユンさんたちと数人で夕飯を食べました。ユンさんは日本語の難しさやシンガポールの文化を教えてくれました。その後、彼女が人気のお店を紹介してくれました。凄く美味しかったので、次の日も他の子に紹介しながら行きました。

After the get-together session, we went to dinner.  She told us about the difficulty of Japanese language and the culture of Singapore. After that, she took us to a popular shop. I liked it, so I introduced this shop to my TUT friends the next day.

交流会で仲良くなれたユンさんとは今でも連絡を取り合っていて、これからも交流を続けたいと思っています。

I am keeping in touch with her, and I want us to be friends forever.

研修後、私だけでなく、多くの参加者がもっと交流したかったと感じていました。JACの方たちには貴重な機会を作っていただき感謝です。ぜひ日本に来られたときは、今度は私が案内してあげたいです。

The get-together session was too short, and everyone wanted to spend more time with NTU JAC members. I’d like to thank them for this great opportunity. If they ever come to Japan, I want to show them around.
